Class reflection

Today we read a Military story about a man who overcame the fears of killing someone. He couldn’t tell his daughter that he have killed someone when she asked him because she is to young to understand.  He tries to resolve lying by writing stories in which he pretends his daughter is a grown up. He tries to resolve killing by imagining that it never happened.

9/9/22 bell ringer

My great uncle is a veterinarian and I have heard stories about how it changed him. When my uncle was in the military when he went to war he had seen his friend head rolled to him during the fight. That had scared him forever. Also when he came home he use to have trouble sleeping because he always thought someone was after him or watching him . It might affect a father’s relationship with his child by missing out on his kids birthday and he may forget how old his child is. He basically is missing out on his kid childhood and it’s gone to be hard to try and make up for it.
